Ingredients :
For the papillotes:
- Heavy duty aluminum foil
- 2 cups (500 mL) sliced Italian sausage
- 2 cups (500 mL) baby red potatoes
- 3/4 cup (190 mL) diced onion
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) diced mushrooms
- 3 bell peppers of your choice, diced
- 4 minced garlic cloves
- 4 and a half tablespoons of olive oil
Spices :
- 1/2 tbsp (each) dried basil, dried oregano, dried parsley, garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon (each) onion powder and dried thyme
- A pinch of cayenne pepper flakes
- 1/3 cup (85 ml) grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation :
- Preheat barbecue to medium-high heat.
- Prepare 4-6 aluminum foils and spray with oil.
- Add sausages and vegetables to a large bowl. Pour in oil and spices. Mix well.
- Divide into packets and seal tightly.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
- Open and top with Parmesan cheese.
- Serve immediately.
