Ingredients :
- 4 cups (1 liter) water
- 1 cup (250ml) sugar
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) fresh mint
- 1 cup (250 ml) squeezed lime juice
- 1 cup (250 mL) coarsely chopped strawberries
- 1 lime, quartered
- 4 to 6 ounces of Tequila
- A squirt of Gran Marnier
- 1 cup (250ml) ice
Preparation :
- In a cauldron, add water, sugar and mint leaves. Bring to a boil, then remove and let sit for 20 minutes for the mint to infuse the liquid.
- Pass through a sieve to remove the mint and transfer to a pitcher. Add lime juice and strawberries.
- Activate the immersion blender and then pass through a sieve.
- Add the alcohol and mix.
- Garnish with ice cream and lime wedge!
