Ingredients :
- 2½ cups (625 mL) all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- 1/2 tablespoon dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 11 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 3/4 cup (190 ml) hot water (35-38°C)
Preparation :
- In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and baking powder. To mix together.
- Add butter (or margarine) and water. Mix well and let stand for 20 minutes.
- Divide the dough into two balls. Each ball is the equivalent of a Pillsbury tube.
- Roll the dough to flatten it, then cut into a triangle or shape of your choice for use.
- You can freeze the leftover ball for next time. Pack well.
Use :
- Use as a Pillsbury. Follow the basic recipe.
- Alternatively, bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 350°F (175°C).
