Ingredients :
- 250 grams of dark chocolate with at least 70% cocoa
- 1 cup (250ml) cool water
- (optional) 4 teaspoons of sugar
Preparation :
- In a large salad bowl, put a dozen ice cubes and a little cold water. Place a smaller container on top, to mix, and make sure that it is in maximum contact with the ice cubes.
- In a saucepan, add water and chocolate. You can also add sugar, personally I don’t add any, because I love the very chocolatey taste. Melt the chocolate over medium heat, stirring constantly.
- Transfer the mixture to the container above and beat with the electric whisk.
- The preparation will lighten and thicken. When the whisk begins to leave traces in the mixture, increase the beating speed for a few seconds.
- Do not beat too long otherwise the foam may become grainy.
- Enjoy immediately or put in a container to go in the refrigerator.
