Ingredients :
Dumplings:
- 2 lbs (906 grams) ground chicken
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup (250 mL) panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon of paprika
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
Hot sauce :
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) Red Hot Sauce
- 1 cup (250 ml) brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper flakes
Preparation :
- Preheat the oven to 475°F (246°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a pot, combine all the ingredients for the sauce and bring to a boil. Reduce and simmer for 8-10 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool, it will thicken.
- In a large bowl, combine all the meatball ingredients. Mix well with hands.
- Use about 3 tablespoons of the mixture and make nice balls. You can use an ice cream scoop.
- Brush meatballs with sauce and spread on baking sheets.
- Cook for 11 to 13 minutes.
- Serve with the remaining sauce.
- Freezes very well.
