Ingredients :
- 2 heads of cauliflower
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of paprika
- 1/4 cup (65ml) olive oil
- 1 teaspoon chopped parsley
Preparation :
- Adjust the oven rack to the lowest setting and preheat the oven to 500°F (260°C).
- Remove the green leaves and cut the stem from the cauliflowers.
- Use a knife and cut the cauliflower in half lengthwise.
- Make 1 and a half inch slices with your cauliflower halves.
- Place the cauliflower steaks on a baking sheet that has been lined with a sheet of parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, combine the spices.
- Brush both sides of cauliflower steaks with olive oil.
- Sprinkle with the spices.
- Cover with aluminum foil and cook for 5 minutes.
- Remove foil and roast for 10 minutes.
- Turn the cauliflower slices and cook for about 6-8 minutes on the other side.
- Remove from oven and garnish with parsley.
