  • Exotic verbena essential oil
  • Angelica essential oil
  • Shell marjoram essential oil
  • Eucalyptus radiata essential oil

L’Exotic verbena essential oil helps to fight against lack of nicotine. It contains citrals which have an inhibiting action on a specific enzyme (CYP2B6 hydroxylase), a molecule involved in the metabolism of nicotine by the body, a mechanism which contributes to addiction.

By inhibiting this enzyme, citrals represent a true weaning aid.

L’Angelica essential oil is the reference molecule for getting rid of soft drug addiction. It contains terpenes, coumarins and esters which give it its anti-addictive properties and which also have a powerful anxiolytic action.

L’Shell marjoram essential oil is very effective in calming the stress, anxiety and mood swings. It contains terpinene-4-ol which lowers heart rate and lowers stress hormone levels.

L’Eucalyptus radiata essential oil is used in this case to help expectoration. Indeed, it contains 1,8-cineole which makes it easier to eliminate toxins and tar stuck to the walls of the bronchi.

In practice

Prepare yourself a homemade solution that you can use at any time of the day with 20 drops of each essential oil diluted in 15 ml of sweet almond vegetable oil.

Each time the urge to smoke is felt, put 2 drops of this solution (after shaking it beforehand) on the inside of the wrists and breathe deeply.

Precaution for use

These essential oils should not be used by pregnant or breastfeeding women, or by people with epilepsy.
