Homemade beet fries that are really easy to make!

Ingredients :

  • 2 large beets (red or golden)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Preparation :

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with a sheet of parchment paper.
  2. Peel the beets, then slice into fries.
  3. Spread the beet fries on the parchment paper.
  4. Brush with olive oil. Add the spices (chili, salt, pepper, cumin).
  5. Bake for 15 to 25 minutes. Turn after 10 minutes. To see if they are ready, prick with a fork.
  6. Remove from the oven and garnish with a little Parmesan and parsley.
  7. Serve with an aioli or sauce of your choice.
