Ingredients :
- 2 large beets (red or golden)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley (optional)
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation :
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with a sheet of parchment paper.
- Peel the beets, then slice into fries.
- Spread the beet fries on the parchment paper.
- Brush with olive oil. Add the spices (chili, salt, pepper, cumin).
- Bake for 15 to 25 minutes. Turn after 10 minutes. To see if they are ready, prick with a fork.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with a little Parmesan and parsley.
- Serve with an aioli or sauce of your choice.
