Spread the love

From hygiene measures to the right food supplements, including food: here are the good tips for Caroline Gayet to fight against tooth decay. Caroline is a phytotherapist, she runs a herbalist in Aulnay-sous-Bois and she is the author of numerous books.

Note: this article is the transcription of the interview in the expert video above.

Remineralization objective

Against dental loosening, it is necessary above all to remineralize. When the gum retracts, the tooth and the root are no longer well secured and threaten to fall. So for that, in vitamins, think of D3 and K2.

Vitamin D, everyone knows it because it helps to fix calcium on the bones. But it has a dimension of remineralization which is interesting. And K2 is the intelligent quote vitamin of the fixation of calcium, especially on bones and teeth, and therefore it is welcome in this prevention of dental loosening at the rate of 50 micrograms per day of K2 therefore. At this dosage there, no interaction with anticoagulants and vitamin D3, normally, it is between 2000 to 400O IU depending on your vitamin D status, which I invite you to assay on blood test.

Plants: zoom on sage

At the same time, there is a rather fantastic little powder with only three products: green clay powder, horsetail powder, field horsetail which are two hyper remineralizing active ingredients and also a little bit of sage powder. which may be welcome in the case of bleeding gums.

  • Instructions: always do it with a soft toothbrush and not medium or hard to attack. Always go gently in brushing. Just because you brush harder doesn’t mean your teeth are cleaner and it weakens your gums even more and therefore this little powder. You can use it in three ways. The first is simply to put a tiny bit of powder on your toothpaste and brush your teeth with it.
  • The second way is to use it as a mouthwash after brushing your teeth. Half a teaspoonful in a little bit of water and we just do a mouthwash, we spit and that will help. And finally, third use, it’s like a gum paste, so you can use half a teaspoon of it, put a tiny bit of water with it and form a paste to leave on the areas of your teeth that are loose. .

So obviously you’re going to salivate, you’re going to swallow it, but there’s no danger. The goal is to leave it on for as long as possible. The powder that includes these three powders is called Dentistry at the Phyt & Sens herbalist.

Q10: good anti-wrinkle and also good for the teeth!

In parallel to this, there is another very important micro-nutrient and few dentists know it: it is coenzyme Q10. There’s a lot of Q10 in your jaw and in cases of tooth loss, the recommended dosage is 200 milligrams per day.

  • Instructions for use: coenzyme Q10 is taken in the form of capsules to be taken in the morning, always during breakfast. With fat: you need a little bit of butter or hazelnuts or a piece of cheese because coenzyme Q10 is fat-soluble.

Something else : Q10 will help get you pumped up because it’s more of an antioxidant that gives you energy. And it also helps your heart muscle to work well. It is very good in protecting the cardiovascular sphere, which again is never lost. And so normally, by taking all this little protocol there, K2, D3, Q10 orally and locally this powder based on horsetail, nettle and sage. Well, you should decrease your tooth loss.
