Ingredients for the apple chips recipe:
- 4 red apples
- 2 teaspoons of sugar (or 2 packets of Stevia)
- 1/2 tablespoon cinnamon
Preparation :
- Preheat the oven to 200°F (100°C).
- Core the apples, but keep the peel, as it contains a lot of flavor.
- Cut the apples into very thin slices (1/6 inch). Use a mandolin, if possible.
- Sprinkle apples with sugar and cinnamon.
- Place your apple pieces on a baking sheet that has been lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the oven for 1 hour and a half.
- Flip the apple chips aside and continue cooking for another hour.
- Close the oven and leave the apple chips warm all night (or a few hours).
- Place them in a large ziplock bag.
